Gold is earned in play. Gems only buy cosmetics. Here is exactly what that means.
BLOCKRÖK is free to play, and we want to be very clear about how the optional shop works before anyone spends a cent.
- Gold is earned by playing: quests, trade, crafting and adventure.
- Gems are the premium currency and only buy cosmetics: auras, portrait frames, titles and, later, building styles, wings, pets and emotes.
- Gems never change stats, damage, drops or progression.
The rule of the world is also our commercial rule: you can buy how your story looks, you can't buy having earned it.
